DRIVEN PIPE SUPPORT FRAMEWORK

We use the SnapNRack 200 series extruded rail for all of our ground-mount racks. As an alternate method of supporting the 200 Series rail we build a custom support frame. The frames are built on steel pipe driven into the ground with a heavy duty pounder.
The Montana Post Pounder Model 1000E weighs 2,000 pounds and can exert a force of 2200 PSI.
Horizontal members and gussets are field welded to create a solid support.
When required we have had this method certified by licensed structural engineers.
Below are photographs and videos of the process. Click on any thumbnail for a full size image or video playback.
